Should I Say the Post-Prayer Litanies and Supplications When I Am Travelling?

Question: Assalam ‘aleykum,

Should I say the post-prayer litanies and supplications when I am travelling?

Answer: Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah,

I pray that this message finds you well, insha’Allah.

Yes, it remains from the sunna to say the post-prayer litanies and supplications even whilst you are travelling, particularly as they can be recited “on the go.”

However, the degree of emphasis would be less, as is the case with the sunna prayers during active travel.

And Allah alone knows best.
