How can you promote things like “Q-News”? Do they not have things that are questionable, sir, and things against what the mashaikh say?
Q-News is an excellent magazine. It is not necessary to agree with everything another does to help them or promote their efforts.
Without an open, embracing attitude, we will stand alone, and ultimately fall. The Beloved of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) cautioned us to,
“Be with the group, and beware of remaining alone, for Shaytan is close to the one alone and is further from two. Whoever wants the sweet expanses of Paradise should stick to the group.” [Tirmidhi, who deemed it sound and authentic (hasan sahih)]
Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani (Allah have mercy on him) explained the group’ as being the way laid out by the true scholars of understanding of each age. [Fath al-Bari]
And Allah alone gives success.
