When do the prayer times end?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Qibla.com

Answered by Shaykh Faraz Rabbani

When do the times of Salaah end? I only know Salatul Fajr ends when the sun rises. And what about the other 4 daily prayers?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Walaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,

I pray that this finds you well, and in the best of health and spirits. May Allah grant you all good and success in this life and the next.

You are correct about Fajr time. As for the other prayer times, each one ends when the next prayer time enters. However, it is prohibitively disliked and sinful to delay Asr prayer till the end of its time (when the sun is setting and the light of the sun begins to dim, such that it doesn’t dazzle the eyes)–though it remains obligatory to pray Asr even at that time.
