In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Walaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,

I pray that this finds you well, and in the best of health and spirits. May Allah grant you all good and success in this life and the next.

The basis is that one assumes the validity and soundness of one’s prayer–and ignores doubts and misgivings. Thus, if unsure whether one’s prayer was complete, one assumes that it was–unless certain that there was some clear mistake requiring rectification. [Ala’ al-Din Abidin, al-Hadiyya al-Ala’iyya]
