Making prayers early

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Qibla.com

Answered by SunniPath Answer Service Team

If one is at work when it is time to pray and they fear praying at work because of the nature of the environment, is it permissible to make the prayer early? Or is it only acceptable to make up the prayer at a later time that day? It is unacceptable to pray early even if it is only 10-20 minutes earlier than the time of the prayer, even if one is praying with the utmost sincerity and fear of missing the prayer?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah

I pray this finds you in the best of health and spirits.

No, you can’t perform the prayer  before it is time.
