Can you explain this hadith: Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle said, “The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Turks; people with small eyes, red faces, and flat noses. Their faces will look like shields coated with leather. The Hour will not be established till you fight with people whose shoes are made of hair.” (Volume 4, Book 52, Number 179 Bukhari)

The Turks in this hadith are the Tatars, meaning the Mongolian and Turkic people that took part in the invasion of Central and Western Asia and Eastern Europe such as Tamerlane, Genghis Khan, and Hulagu Khan as indicated by al-Barzanji in his compilation of all the hadiths pertaining to the end of times titled al-Isha’a li-Ashrat al-Sa`a, and Allah knows best.
