Questions related to purity of body & clothing

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Qibla.com

Answered by Shaykh Ilyas Patel

1. If something is najis like clothes that have urine on it, and you put that clothing somewhere and the pant is wet does the thing that you put it on become najis, do you have to clean that too?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful and Compassionate

1. If the traces of urine go onto the other clothes then that portion of the clothing is also impure. One only needs washing that portion which is impure and effected.

2. If the clothing is dry then the trace of impurity will not affect the other clothing so it will not render it impure and najis.

3. One cleans oneself from urine only after one has finished and there will be a very small trace of urine left on the private part and it is washed away. If you mean by splashes ‘real splashes’ then only that portion will be needed to be washed and you don’t need to have a bath. And if you mean by splashes as equal in size to the heads of needles then they are overlooked as mentioned in Nur al-Idah.

And Allah knows best
