Bismihi Subhanahu Wa-ta’ala Assalamooalaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh Respected Sister or Brother
A. In principle, it is permitted to purchase, eat or consume products made by Non Muslims with the following 2 conditions:
1. The product in itself must be Halaal.
2. It must not be related to any non Muslim religious functions for example, Christmas, Diwali, Cross, Idols, and Easter etc.
Notwithstanding, it is Afzal (best) to buy products from Muslims especially as the products you mention are made by Muslims in the hoards. We should then try our best to avoid.

With reference to Purnima, HMC have wrote to us as follows:
Assalaamu ‘Alaykum W.W.
We are aware that there were rumours some time ago, approx. 18 months –
2 years, regarding the Punima shop in Leicester and the allegation of
Cow’s urine. We can’t comment other than say that this incident did
make it into the ‘Leicester Mercury’ and the owners rejected the claims
outright, and Allah knows best.
Wassalaam
