Intrauterine insemination

Q: Iui is intrauterine insemination. In this semen of husband is taken in a vial, it is then injected directly into the uterus of woman. My freind had a female child 10 years after marriage by this procedure, she wants to have it one more time. Is it permissible for her?

A: Generally, this entails uncovering of the private areas, and uncovering the private areas is not permissible unless for valid reasons. This is not a valid shar`ee reason.
