Collecting data on alcohol

Q: I run a market research company, one of my clients is doing a project with regards to alcohol, they requested that I help collect the data for them. This will mean getting vodka drinkers to complete an online interview. Is this permissible?

A: It is impermissible for a Muslim to involve himself in such activity.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
