What are the limits of shari’ah when visiting a muslim beautician?

Q: Can mufti please provide guide lines as to what are the limits of shari’ah when visiting a muslim beautician(waxing etc)?

A: It is not permissible for a Muslim woman to expose the area from below the navel till the knee (i.e. including the knee) before Muslim women. Apart from this, exposing the area above the navel and below the knee before a Muslim woman is permissible provided there is no fear of fitnah.
