Doing such an action which renders the Salaah makrooh unintentionally

Q: As a general rule does an act which would be makruh if done intentionally, if that act happens out of control of the person praying, does this make his salaah makruh ?

Bismillaah

A: When it is not within your choice you will not be sinful insha-Allah.

Q: According to your above fatwa, someone asked:

I’ve been praying in a room for years and just today realized that there is a picture of a relative in the room, hanging on the wall. I had not paid attention to it before, I only today realized that I’ve been praying in a room with a picture of a human and this is not good. Are all my past Salaah’s Makruh Tahrimi? Please understand that I was unknowingly praying in a room with a picture.

A: All your past Salaah are valid.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
