Is it a sin to look at bad things, unintentionally?

Answer:
If you unintentionally look at things which you should not and immediately look away then it will not be sinful. As Buraydah ibn al-Hasib narrates that the Prophet (sallal lahu alayhi wa sallam) said: to Ali: “Do not give a second look, Ali, (because) while you are not to blame for the first, you have no right to the second.” (Sunan Abu Dawood: 882)
