Q: What are the “Dua’s” that Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) read in last tashud after darood shareef? Is there any proof that Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) used to pray “Rab be jaalnee mo qee ma asala tee…………. ” dua after darood shareef in Namaz?
A: There are several du`aas that reported in the hadeeth. The famous du`aa that is reported in the hadeeth is “allahumma inni zhalamtu nafsee . . .” (till the end). The du`aas that appear in the Qur’aan and Hadeeth are permissible to recite after the durood. We haven’t come across any hadeeth which says that Nabi (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) recited this particular du`aa after the durood.
