Male garment being below the ankles

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: What is the ruling regarding a male garment being below his ankles?

Bismillaah

A: It is Makrooh. The hadeeth sounds a warning for that person who allows his garments to flow beneath his ankles that it will be in the fire of Jahannum.
