Travelling safr distance from watn-e-iqaamat

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I decided to travel to Dammam for 17 days. In between I went to some other town for 3 days which is approximately 200kms from Dammam.

My question is, after I came back to Dammam, do I need to pray qasar or full namaz? Initially it was more than 15 days stay so I was praying full namaz but after moving out of town and coming back and less than 15 days of stay left, so will it be qasr or not?

Bismillaah

A: If Dammaam is not your home town, you will be a musaafir. Hence, you will perform qasr salaah in the case where you perform salaah alone or behind a musaafir.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
