Inheritance Distribution: Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister

Q: Kindly inform us regarding the distribution of inheritance based on the following. Deceased left wife, mother, infant daughter and a sister.

Bismillaah

A: The estate will be divided into 24 equal shares and distributed as follows:

Wife will receive 3 shares

Mother will receive 4 shares

Daughter will receive 12 shares

Sister will receive 5 shares

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
