Eating the meat of an animal that one vowed to slaughter

Q: Can I eat meat of my own intended qurbani that was performed after a request made to Allah came true?

Bismillaah

A: If you are referring to a mannat (vow) then the meat has to be given out in sadaqah.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
