The Ruling on Plucking Out White Hair in Islam

Q: Recently in one of your replies, the following Arabic extract was quoted. ولا بأس بنتف الشيب

I was taught that it is not good to pluck out white hair which seems to contradict this extract. Please explain to me the ruling on plucking out white hair.

Bismillaah

A: The explanation for this is that it will be incorrect to pluck it for purposes of beautification.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
