Walking in front of a person performing salaah in a big musjid

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: In a musjid kabeer, can one walk one saff in front of a person who is performing salaah? (i.e. in front of his head in the sajdah position such that one would not be walking directly in the area he would need for salaah) or is it 2 staffs or more?

Bismillaah

A: It is safer to leave two saffs and then go across in a musjid kabeer.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
