Sharing the Estate of a Divorced Lady: Who Gets What?

Q: Kindly advise how to share the estate of a divorced lady if she is survived by 1 son, 1 daughter, a widowed mother, two brothers and a sister.

Bismillaah

A: The estate will be divided into 18 equal shares and distributed as follows:

The mother will receive 3 shares

The son will receive 10 shares

The daughter will receive 5 shares

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
