My father is going for Umrah in the month of Ramadan in-shaAllah. I want to know that witr salah is performed by Jamah during the month of Ramadan but as we heard that there in Mecca and Medina the performing of witr salah is different from ours. My question is how should my father perform the witr salah there?

Your father may offer witr salah behind the imams of Haramain with jama’ah. However, when the Imam stands after turning salam on two rakah he should stand without turning salam, and continue to the third rakah and thus complete his salah.
