Marijuana: Khmar and Salat Validity for 40 Days?

Q: Is marijuana consider khmar? And does it invalidate the salat for 40 days?

Bismillaah

A:

1. Since it is an intoxicant, it has the law of impermissibility like khamar.

2. If one performs salaah, one will be absolved of the obligation of the salaah. However, if he does not repent, he will not receive the noor and reward of the salaah.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
