Being dutiful to one’s parents after their demise

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I lost both my parents within 2 years, both in Ramadan. What is the best way to send sawaab to them and how, as their child, can I still be dutiful to them?

Bismillaah

A: Do some esaale thawaab by reciting the Qur’aan, making zikr or doing some charitable work or teaching and encouraging someone towards righteousness.

Insha-Allah if you do this and make du`aa for them you will be counted as a dutiful child.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
