Who’s obligation it is to look after the children?

Q: Whom does Islam give the right of the child after the parents. The mother’s family or the father’s family.

Bismillaah

A: As long as they are in the marriage they are the obligations of the parents.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
