Exchanging Musjid property

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: There is a land of a musjid for cultivation in my village. Some people of our village have no way of going out even through the qabrastaan besides that masjid land. Can that land be exchanged for some other land?

Bismillaah

A: Musjid property is generally waqf. And the waqf property should not be exchanged.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
