Did Imam’s salah complete without sajdah sahv, or must he repeat it?

Yesterday I was offering Asr salah by Jamah, the Imam did qirah in second rakah by jehri qirah “Alhamdulillahi Rabbil Aalamin” and stopped jehri qirah after this two word. He completed salah without sajdah sahv. I want to ask that salah is completed or not or imam needs to repeat salah?

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

The salah was valid. Sajdah sahv does not become wajib only by reading one ayah loudly.
