Buying expensive oudh

Q: Is buying expensive oudh considered contrary to the sunnah of simplicity and not wasting money? Or is it considered fulfilling a sunnah?

Bismillaah

A: If it is well within one’s means it is permissible and it is not against the sunnah.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
