Will This Be Ok?

Question:

Assalamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,
 
 
If you could kindly answer the following:
 
The layout at our Masjid is as follows
 
1. Jamaat Khana
2. Passage
3.Room
4. Hall
A diagram has been included
 
All these are behind each other and have speakers through out. the question is that when the Jamaat khana is full can the extra Musallis be accommodated in the hall with the gap of a passage and small room in between which equals 3/4 metres?

Answer:

 

 

It will be okay to accommodate the overflow of Musallis in the hall, provided the following conditions are found;

1) While the Salaah is in progress the passage and room must not be in use.

2) Those that are following must at least be able to see or hear the Imam’s condition, i.e. to know if he is in Ruku’, Sajdah etc.

3) The gap between the Jamaat Khana and hall must be less than 2 Saffs. If the gap is 2 Saffs or more then the hall can not be used. This problem can be overcome by forming Saffs in-between the Jamaat Khana and hall consisting of not less than 2 people each.
