Is changing a child’s name to improve their health allowed in Islam?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Jamia Binoria
I have a son whose date of birth is 20-9-2016 and I have named him as Abdul Rafiu. He often remains sick. Some people say, to change the name and see. I wish to know the Islamic ruling on this whether it is correct to do so or no?

الجواب حامدا و مصلیا

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH THE MOST BENEFICENT AND THE MOST MERCIFUL
The name mentioned here is a good and a blessed name. Therefore it is not necessary to change your son’s name merely on the basis of the referred matter.

Allah knows best.
