As owner I have made only pant and shirt as the uniform. Is it ok?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Jamia Binoria

What do the respected Ulemas and Mufthis say about this. I am the owner of a public school and only boys are studying in it. I have made only pant and shirt (without tie) as the uniform of the school. Is it a sin to wear this uniform? How is it to make the uniform of the school pant and shirt without tie?

الجواب حامدا و مصلیا

What is preferable is to give custom to our own country and national costume (Shalwar Qamees) and declare a particular colour of it as the School’s Uniform, because lively nations proudly look at their Civilization and Culture with highly esteemed views. Therefore may refrain from assigning unnecessarily pants and shirts as Uniform. However if it is retained as the uniform then it must be looked into that the pants are above the ankles and the shirts are made in such a way that the figure or shape of the body is not manifested, i.e. to be spacious.
