Qada of missed Salah whilst travelling

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by IslamicPortal.co.uk

Qaḍaʾ of missed Ṣalāh whilst travelling

Question

If a traveller misses Ṣalāh whilst travelling, and thereafter returns home, and makes qaḍāʾ, does he perform the full four rakʿat or does he perform two rakʿat because he missed it whilst travelling?

Answer

If a traveller misses Ẓuhr, ʿAṣr or ʿIshāʾ Ṣalāh whilst travelling and enters his home town after the Ṣalāh time has ended, he will make qaḍāʾ of two rakʿat.
