I am a Ḥanafī, and I prayed behind a congregation at university with the intention of Dhuhr Ṣalāh. Later, I realised they were performing ʿAṣr Ṣalāh. Do I have to repeat the Ṣalāh?

Answer:
Yes, you have to repeat the Ṣalāh because the Imam’s Ṣalāh must be the same for your obligation to be fulfilled.
قال القدوري في مختصره (ص ٣٠): ولا يصلي المفترض خلف المتنفل، ولا من يصلي فرضا خلف من يصلي فرضا آخر، ويصلي المتنفل خلف المفترض، انتهى. وقال العيني في البناية (٢/٣٦٤): ولا يصلي من يريد صلاة فرض مثلا صلاة الظهر خلف من يصلي فرضا آخر نحو من يصلي عصرا أو عشاء، انتهى۔
