What is the status of the narrator ‘Ata ibn ‘Ajlan?
Answer
‘Ata ibn ‘Ajlan has been declared extremely weak by Imams Bukhari, Abi Hatim and Nasai (rahimahumullah). Imam Yahya ibn Ma’in and Fallas (rahimahumallah) have declared him a liar.
