What exactly are الدباء (Ad-Dubba) and القرع (Al-qar’u) which are mentioned in the Hadith to be beloved to Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam)?
The words الدباء and القرع are synonyms that refer to a particular type of gourd [including but not exclusive to squash, pumpkin, or calabash].
