Question

Was Ishaq Malati a reliable narrator?

Answer

Ishaq ibn Najih al Malati has been declared a liar and fabricator by many Muhaddithun including Imams Yayha ibn Ma’in, Ahmad and Fallas (rahimahumullah).

(Mizanul I’itidal, vol. 1 pg. 205, number: 755)

His narrations will therefore be deemed unreliable.
