The translation is as follows:
Hasan Al Basri (rahimahullah) said, “Do not associate with an innovator, for he will cause your heart to become [spiritually] ill.”
(Al Bida’ Wan Nahyu ‘Anha, 119, Al I’tisam, vol. 1 pg. 138)
