Is this Hadith authentic?
Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“Don’t make your houses like graveyards, for the Shaytan flees from a house in which Surah al-Baqarah is read”
Answer:
Imam Muslim (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration in his Sahih, on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu).
The narration is therefore authentic.
