Please cite some important du’as taught by Rasulullah (sallallahu’alaihi wasallam) for protection against a painful death.
Answer
Du’a for protection from the hardships of sakarat (pangs of death):
Allahumma a’inni ‘ala sakaratil mawt
Translation: O Allah, assist me in the difficulty of death and at the time of sakarat.(Mustadrak Hakim hadith3731, 4386 – Hafiz Dhahabi has authenticated this hadith)
