The narrator, Muhammad ibn Hamdan ibn Sabbah An Naysaburi

What is the status of Muhammad ibn Hamdan ibn Sabbah An Naysaburi?

Answer

Hafiz Ibn Hajar Al ‘Asqalani (rahimahullah) has quoted Hafiz Khatib Baghdadi (rahimahullah) to have declared this narrator unknown [majhul].

(Lisanul Mizan, vol. 7 pg. 104, number: 6724)

His narrations will therefore be deemed weak.
