Those who invent tales and those who spread them are equal

What is the reference for this narration?

Sayyiduna ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib (radiyallahu ‘anhu) said:

“The one who invents tales and those who circulate it are both equal in sinning”

Answer:

This statement of Sayyiduna ‘Ali (radiyallahu ‘anhu) is recorded in Al Adabul Mufrad of Imam Bukhari (rahimahullah).
