أخبرنا مقاتل بن محمد بن بنان العكي قال: حضرت مع أبي وأخي عند أبي إسحاق يعني إبراهيم الحربي فقال إبراهيم لأبي: هؤلاء أولادك؟ قال: نعم، قال: احذر لا يرونك حيث نهاك الله، فتسقط من أعينهم

Translation
Muqatil ibn Muhammad once went with his father and brother to visit Abu Ishaq Ibrahim Al Harbi. Ibrahim asked Muhammad, ‘Are these your children?’ When my father replied in the affirmative, he said, ‘Beware, They should not see you [doing things/in places] that Allah Ta’ala has prohibited lest your rank in their eyes and their respect for you diminish.
And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
