What is the authenticity of the Hadith which mentions that those who are unmindful of Salah will be with Qarun, Haman and Fir’awn on the Day of Qiyamah?
Answer:
This Hadith is recorded in several Hadith collections on the authority of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr (radiyallahu ‘anhuma). The full Hadith is as follows:
“Whoever protects Salah [and is punctual in performing it], the Salah will be a source of light, a proof and a means of salvation on the Day of Qiyamah. Whomsoever is [unmindful] and does not protect his Salah, it will not be a source of light, nor a proof nor will it be a means of salvation. On the Day of Qiyamah, he will be with Qarun, Haman, Fir’awn and Ubayy ibn Khalaf.”

Imam Ibn Hibban (rahimahullah) has declared the Hadith authentic and Hafiz Haythami (rahimahullah) has declared the narrators of Imam Ahmad reliable.
