Is the following a Hadith?
“Whoever breaks someone’s heart then it is his responsibility to mend that person’s heart”
Answer:
‘Allamah ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullah) states that this is an etiquette (adab) and these words are not known as a Hadith of Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam). It should therefore not be quoted as a Hadith.
