‘Amr ibn Qays Al Mulai (rahimahullah) would close his business in Sha’ban

I have heard of a pious predecessor who would close up his business in Sha’ban so that he could free his time to recite Quran. Who was this pious person?

Answer:

This was ‘Amr ibn Qays Al Mulai (rahimahullah), a Tab’ut Tabi’i as mentioned by Hafiz Ibn Rajab Al Hambali (rahimahullah).
