When two potentials meet for the purpose of nikah, I understand the woman can remove her veil. However, does this rule apply for the boy’s father too? Can the boy’s father see the girl before marriage?
Answer:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
No, the boy’s father cannot see the girl before the marriage. He is just like any other non-mahram. Only the person intending to marry may see the face of his potential bride; and his intention should be to act on the Sunnah.
