How did Shaitan enter Jannah to deceive Adam Alayhis Salam
In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful.
Answer
A question arises over how Shaitan entered Paradise to deceive Adam Alayhis Salam and Hawwa Radiallahu Anha when he had already been expelled.
There are many possibilities:
- He planted a suggestion in their minds from afar known as wawasas or satanic insinuations.
- As Shaitan is one of the jinns whom Allah has given unusual powers, he assumed the shape of a snake or of something else and thus succeeded in entering Paradise. (Maariful Quran p.176 v.1)
