Removing Paint From the Hands and Feet for Wudhu

Question

I was painting my house and some paint came on my hands and feet I removed them but still, some were left on my feet. I tried scrubbing but it would not come off. Will my wudhu be valid?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

One fundamental condition for the validity of wudhu is that the water should reach the entire surface of whichever limb is being washed[1]. Thus, any substance which hinders the water from reaching the skin should be removed.

If it is extremely difficult to remove, for example, the paint can only be removed with a knife [by scraping it off] or any other similar instrument, then because of the difficulty in this, it will not be an obstacle to wudu and ghusl.[2]
