Question

Is there any karaha in the Imam of Eid Salah being a different person to the khateeb?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

There is no harm if the imam leading the salah is different from the person delivering the khutbah prior to the prayer. (Kitabul Nawazil v.5 p 3.75 )
