If a Hafiz Makes a Mistake in a Long Ayah in Taraweeh Salaah and Then Intends To Correct It the Next Day

Question

If a hafiz makes a mistake in a long ayah in Taraweeh Salaah, and then intends to correct it the next day, is it permissible to read the portion they made a mistake on rather than the whole ayah?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

The verses are sentences of speech that carry complete meaning. If the meaning makes sense, then it would be permissible to start from the middle of the verse. It would be better to repeat an ayat or two before the mistake.[1]
